Bologna-Prozess (W3)
Der "Bologna-Prozess" kennzeichnet eine weitreichende Reform des europäischen Hochschulsystems. Er ist ein zentraler Bestandteil der 2000 von der EU angestoßenen Lissabon-Strategie. Ziel des Bologna-Prozesses ist es, bis 2010 einen einheitlichen europäischen Hochschulraum zu schaffen. Außerdem soll die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit Europas als Bildungsstandort weltweit gestärkt werden.
Die "Erklärung von Bologna", die den Prozess einläutete, wurde im Juni 1999 von 29 europäischen Bildungsministern unterzeichnet. Folgende Reformansätze stehen dabei im Mittelpunkt:
- 1. Schaffung eines Systems verständlicher und vergleichbarer Abschlüsse.
- 2. Schaffung eines zweistufigen Systems von Studienabschlüssen (Bachelor and Master).
- 3. Einführung eines Leistungspunktesystems (European Credit Point Transfer System).
- 4. Beseitigung von Mobilitätshemmnissen.
- 5. Förderung der europäischen Dimension in der Hochschulausbildung.
